About WMI

Asi Lang President

Mr. Lang has led the creative and technical endeavors of WMI since its inception as a graphics research team in 2000. He brings extensive experience in management to the company, as well as a mix of artistic talent, technical skill, and proven marketing techniques. In 2001, he served as Head of Design for Cerami and Associates, New York's most highly regarded acoustical consulting and engineering firm. There, he worked directly with high profile clients including Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, NBC, Bear Stearns, Sony, AT&T, and the Four Seasons Hotels. At Harvard University, he has led numerous successful fundraising events and student groups, and spearheaded a substantial web redesign project for the University in 2002. Mr. Lang has worked closely with Harvard Business School professor Peter Coughlan to solidify WMI's structure and strategy, and he continues to drive the team's graphical R&D. He earned his B.A. with Honors in Computer Science from Harvard University in 2003, with additional coursework taken at Harvard Business School, MIT, and the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Bruce Avery Government and Military Development

Mr. Avery is a specialist in the military systems acquisition process. With 20 years experience in the US Navy and an MBA from Harvard Business School, he brings expert guidance to the WMI management team. As Deputy Project Manager for Business Administration in the US Navy, he developed the cost/design management philosophy on the Tomahawk Cruise Missile program. As a recognized expert in weapon system cost control, he has provided extensive management counsel to the military and defense industries. His clients include AAI, Allied-Signal, Boeing, General Dynamics Land Systems, Israel Military Industries, Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman, and Raytheon Defense Systems. Mr. Avery is one of the founders of the Precision Strike Association, and has served as the President and Chairman of the Harvard Business School Club of Washington, D.C. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University.

Christopher Colosi VP of Finance

Mr. Colosi is responsible for overseeing WMI's financial operations. He has worked at several technology and financial corporations, including Thompson Financial, Opticom Inc., and Arrow International. At Harvard, he handled the finances of several entertainment and academic organizations. A software engineer by training, Mr. Colosi brings a unique combination of technical and financial expertise to the WMI team. At Thompson Financial, he served as a data encryption researcher for the company's global sharetrading software. At Opticom Inc., he helped design and create the Open Collector Interface, a tool for streamlining online IT and data management. As an associate software engineer at Arrow International, he researched, designed and implemented a software monitor for Arrow's ultrasound esophageal probe, a product currently used in hospitals around the world. Mr. Colosi graduated from Harvard University in 2003 with a B.A. in Computer Science.

Brad Kittenbrink Lead Engineer

Mr. Kittenbrink has led development of key technologies of Windward Mark's realtime technology, with a focus on physics simulation. He has also been involved in managing the project's design and production efforts. Mr. Kittenbrink has served as a teaching fellow in Harvard's Computer Science department and has taught in the department's largest class, Introduction to Computer Science, for 2 years. Mr. Kittenbrink has completed several research projects in areas such as Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, and Peer-to-Peer Networking. He has working experience with Carnegie Learning, Inc., a publisher of interactive computerized math curricula for high schools. He graduated in 2003 from Harvard University with a B.A. with Honors in Computer Science.

Palmer Truelson Creative Director

Mr. Truelson is responsible for initiating, organizing, and maintaining the creative development of Windward Mark's production. At Harvard, Mr. Truelson has held similar leadership positions, including Production Manager for "An Evening with Champions," a charitable event that has raised over two million dollars for the Jimmy Fund and the Dana Farber Pediatric Cancer Research Institute. He also served as a Red Cross Disaster Action Team Leader and has worked as an Art Editor for the world's best selling travel guide, "Let's Go." Mr. Truelson graduated in 2003 from Harvard University with a B.A. with Honors in Chemistry and Physics. He has also taken extensive course work in Computer Science.

Eric Tulla Lead Designer

Mr. Tulla serves as WMI's resident gameplay and graphics programming guru. At Harvard University, he excelled in computer graphics programming, specializing in optical simulation using OpenGL and advanced shader programming. His coursework delved extensively into networking and artificial intelligence, along with art and military science at the Harvard Design School and MIT, respectively. His previous work experience includes networking research at Infolibria, a media server corporation, and three years as the computer administrator for the Expository Writing Department at Harvard University. He is a prototypical hard-core gamer and is immensely passionate about history and the arts. Mr. Tulla graduated from Harvard University in 2003 with a B.A. in Computer Science.

Doug Bemis Lead AI Developer

Mr. Bemis is responsible for researching, developing, and managing the implementation of groundbreaking Artificial Intelligence algorithms for Windward Mark Interactive. At Harvard, he pursued a biological approach to AI by working as a research assistant in the Harvard Vision Lab, where he co-wrote three papers on visual psychology. He also led a research team in developing a new AI algorithm for predicting class enrollment in order to more efficiently handle Harvard's preregistration. Prior to that, he worked as a research assistant at the Georgetown University Medical Center Department of Neuroscience, investigating early development of cortical structures within the brain. He graduated with Honors from Harvard in 2004 with a B.A. in Computational Neuroscience.

Soenke Seidel Lead Level Designer

Mr. Seidel joined Windward Mark in 2004 as the Lead Level Designer for WMI's upcoming game title. A skilled level designer and 3D artist, Mr. Seidel is intimately familiar with the art creation and 3D engine pipelines necessary for modern game development. A native of Hamburg, Germany, Mr. Seidel began his career in game design as one of the top ranked level designers for Valve's Counter Strike. He has worked on several commercial titles, including Codename: Gordon, a promotional launch title released with Valve's wildly-acclaimed Half-Life 2, and his level design work can be seen in the Unreal 2004 community bonus pack. An avid game designer, Mr. Seidel enjoys analyzing the latest game design trends and technologies in the market, and has played through most of the game industry's top titles.

Scott Duquette Lead Environmental Artist

Mr. Duquette joined Windward Mark as a 3D environmental artist and graphic designer in 2005. He is responsible for developing 3D environments, props, vehicles, and weapons models, as well as designing and producing user interface elements. Before joining WMI, Mr. Duquette worked as an artist in Atari's Creative Services Department, and served as an in-house graphic designer for Harvard Magazine. He also founded and operated an independent design firm specializing in producing residential home renderings, and is pleased to bring his architectural design expertise to the WMI team. He received a B.A. with Honors in Visual and Environmental Studies from Harvard University in 2005.
